We are seeking a self-motivated and versatile individual with experience of working in a horticultural environment and a willingness to learn new skills.

Responsibilities will include;

º         Sourcing new vegetable products

º         Organising developmental trials

º         Liaison with marketing and other internal departments

º         Liaison with plant suppliers

º         Quality control on growing products

º         Copywriting

º         Forecasting and sales analysis.

The suitable candidate will hold a relevant horticultural qualification and have experience or a relevant background in vegetable production.

We would expect the applicant to have good commercial awareness, strong drive, enthusiasm and good communication skills.

Salary:    £17,ooo - £18,ooo p.a. dependant on experience and training

Hours of work:    1915 p.a, approx 37.5 per week, with a degree of travel within the UK and abroad.

A driving licence is essential to this role.

The working hours would need to be worked flexibly.
