Due to our continued expansion and success we are looking for an experienced web designer/developer. The desired candidate must be self-motivated and have the ability to function independently and still work well in a "team oriented" environment. Must be in the mindset of "Web 2.0" and the surrounding technologies. We are a fun, rapidly growing company covering the South West of England and North London. This vacancy is available in Torbay, Devon. The role involves assisting with the development of new projects and supporting the maintenance of our existing websites. Essential Skills * Expert in PHP and OOP Programming * Advanced knowledge of MySQL 5 and database management * Advanced knowledge of standards based design with xHTML/CSS/JS * Knowledge and understanding of AJAX technologies and methods * A good eye for design and a strong knowledge of Photoshop * Experience with building and maintaining eCommerce solutions * Experience with XML, SOAP, WDSL, and REST Desired Skills * Experience with Code Igniter and Prototype JS (or other JS frameworks) * Experience with Flash is a major plus * Knowledge of and experience with source/version control systems is a plus * Knowledge of LAMP configurations, and experience with Plesk We offer fantastic basic pay with the opportunity to progress your career to higher levels within the company.
